Project Proposal
Mix is a cocktail maker, just like in Boris Vian's book L’écume des jours where he creates different drink via the
different songs he hears.
When we press a guitar key, a signal is sent to a 4X4 grid-like platform. Made from frosted acrylic, on top of each square of that grid a glass of drink is placed. When a key is pressed, different squares from the grid are lit up. The user will have to pour the glasses of drinks of each square that is lit and mix it to make a cocktail and drink it.
This grid platform is controlled by 2 shift regulators of 8 channels each mapping the LED's lighting up when we press a guitar key is pressed. The guitar is controlled by a one 16-channel multiplexer which is listening to the pressed keys. Arduino programming was involved, as well as some circuitry and some building from used components.
